So here I am at the beginning of 2008 looking forward to the new year and what I want to achieve in it. But it also makes me reflect on the year just gone 2007 and look at what I achieved then, take stock and use it as a guide to move forward in this year.
So here is a quick look at what happened in 2007 to get it into perspective. In January 2007 I didn’t know anything about blogging I didn’t even know what a blog was at that point.
By March I had heard about blogging and started looking for information about setting one up. Thats when I started this blog on the blogger platform under a blogger domain. Initally to practice what I was learning about blogging.
In June I joined the Blog Mastermind Mentoring Program to help me take the blog forward, and learn more about blogging with mentor support. I also moved the blog to Wordpress and registered this domain. That was a big move for the blog and totally changed the look and features of the blog and made it more user friendly.
In October I started the case study blog research, following a blog from the planning stage all the way through to it launcing and beyond.
In November I revamped the blog design for the blog to make it look more professional and to improve the layout.
In December I started the case study blog – The Photographer Blog
All in all it was a busy year, I went from knowing nothing to running two blogs. I learned a lot about SEO, traffic generation and internet marketing as well as blogging. So I am wanting to have achieved more by the end of this year because of that knowledge.
